Save the Dates

There’s a lot happening at your community church over the next few months and we’d love to see you. There will be time to remember, reflect, celebrate and a chance to give to those less fortunate.

Wales Parish Church – Save the Dates

Big Brekkie (St John’s Hall) 23/9 10am – 12 noon
Come and enjoy a full English or a bacon or sausage sandwich with a cuppa
Vegetarian options also available

Harvest Festival Family Service 14/10 11am
We’ll be collecting for the Archer Project helping homeless people in Sheffield
Also £1 coins sellotaped to the tins will support Anna Simms our missionary friend in Peru

Departed Loved Ones 4/11 4pm
We light a candle to remember loved ones in God’s eternal care

Remembrance Service & Parade 11/11 10.45am
We honour the fallen in this special centenary year

Shoebox Family Service 18/11 11am
We’ll be collecting Shoeboxes for the local homeless people of all ages
If you still want to put together a shoebox for operation Christmas child then that’s ok as well

Christmas Fayre 24/11 10am-1pm
In St Johns Rooms

Christmas Family Service 9/12 11am
With a teenage nativity play by Livewire Drama Group

Remember our Child 18/12 7.30pm
A quiet reflective service for anyone who has lost a son or daughter

Nativity from Scratch Family Service 16/12 11am
For young children. Just dress up and take part no rehearsals necessary

Carol Service 16/12 6pm
Around the candlelit crib with your favourite seasonal hymns

Christingles 24/12 4 & 5.30pm
Needs no introduction. It’s always packed so get there early. So busy that we have two!

Midnight Mass 24/12 11.30pm
Have a festive drink at the Duke of Leeds pub and then come over and join in the celebrations

Christmas Day Celebration Service 25/12 9.15am
We love this service. Christmas story told with characters from the crib. Don’t forget to bring your favourite Christmas present.

Nearly New Year’s Eve Service 30/12 10am
We gather at Harthill Parish Church with other churches in the local area to reflect on the past year and look forward to a peaceful 2019
